Meet Joeri, Managing director at Sadeco

Sadeco sends out strong technical quality controllers for various projects at major automakers.

In 2010, Joeri De Coninck decided to put on his entrepreneurial shoes. He founded Sadeco as a company with great expertise in the automotive industry and, thanks to the pleasant experiences of the past, immediately knocked on IMPACT’s door. IMPACT gave him the necessary space to grow: successfully! For ten years, Sadeco and IMPACT have played an important role in each other’s growth story.

It was through his then employer that Joeri De Coninck became acquainted with IMPACT in 2007. He worked there not only directly with IMPACT, but also with several temporary workers. After several years, Joeri examined the options and finally made the decision to start his own company: Sadeco. IMPACT was involved from the start to find the right specialists.

An important role from the start

Anyone launching their own business can use all the extra breathing room they can get. Joeri emphasizes how IMPACT thought along with Sadeco and gave him the opportunity to get off to a flying start. “Even though we already knew each other, IMPACT of course had no way of knowing whether Sadeco would be a success. Nevertheless, they offered me a very flexible solution on a financial level. Without IMPACT, the start of Sadeco would have been so much more difficult. That’s where the solid foundation and trust was immediately established for a long-term cooperation.”

And whether Joeri’s story became a success. Today, Sadeco is a thriving company in the auto industry with fourteen permanent employees and an average of about thirty-five temporary workers sent out to various companies. “In the auto industry, there are a lot of Just in Time projects. This means that, unfortunately, there is hardly any time to train, supervise and follow-up people ourselves. Companies call on these experts through Sadeco, knowing they can start work immediately.”

Eye for quality

Sadeco’s expertise lies mainly in quality control of all kinds of auto parts. “An example: when a supplier delivers parts to a car manufacturer, we check if there are any bad parts that need to be rejected. Then Sadeco is called in: we either make the part ourselves or draw up a work instruction and job contract that is forwarded to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Our ISO certification shows that we continuously evaluate and improve our processes, products and services and meet all quality standards.”

IMPACT provides the specialists Sadeco can call on for its ongoing projects. “We look first and foremost for those immediately deployable technical quality controllers. Our trump card lies in the good reception and guidance we can offer them. They are immediately presented with a cool project with the necessary instructions and participation to become even better at their job. We also regularly have interesting vacancies for so-called quality engineers: they act as intermediaries between the manufacturer and the supplier. Sometimes this culminates in a permanent contract.”

A shared growth story

The combination of flexibility, professionalism and personality that Sadeco offers its customers is also found at IMPACT. “When I call IMPACT, I know I get motivated people on the line. After ten years, I have also built strong personal relationships with several of them. That combined with the support IMPACT offered me from the beginning makes all the difference for me. For me, it’s not about the cheapest, but about the best partnership.”

Sadeco and IMPACT have contributed a fine stone to each other’s success story over the past decade. “That’s what makes it so pleasant: you know from each other who you are and what you have to gain from each other. And the longer you work together, the better it gets. IMPACT now knows perfectly what Sadeco needs. We have completed a great journey together and will undoubtedly continue our collaboration. And hopefully soon we can pick up other things as well, such as going to a soccer or basketball game together. That mix of hard work and fun, we love that.”
