IMPACT puts full emphasis on innovation with new look
IMPACT is pulling the card of digitization, opting for a new look-and-feel with a sleeker logo and a new website.
IMPACT is fully embracing digitization and has also opted for a new look-and-feel with a sleeker logo and a new website. CEO Eric Dantinne explains, “The staffing industry is evolving at a rapid pace. With a modern brand, a website tailored to each target group and advanced tools for our recruiters, so do we. This way we can help our candidates, temps and clients make it.”
IMPACT was founded in 1999 and has become a fixture in the interim world. Since the last decade, the specialized temporary employment agency has put the magnifying glass mainly on the recruitment and selection of both blue-collar and white-collar workers in the technical and construction sectors. With 23 offices of its own, with its headquarters in Hasselt, IMPACT is present throughout Belgium. Through sister companies Nova Engineering – outsourcing of engineering profiles and higher-trained technical professionals – and Talent Link – recruitment & selection of higher-trained professionals – IMPACT offers a wide range.
But IMPACT also looks beyond its own national borders. Three years ago, for example, the Limburg-based company established itself in our northern neighbors through the acquisition of Haldu, a temporary employment agency also active in the technical and construction sectors. There is also an IMPACT office in Gdańsk, Poland: through local recruitment, the company looks for international specialists to work in Belgium. A specific route was worked out for them with specific guidance and accommodation in our country.
A rebranding with a clear story
IMPACT understands better than anyone how difficult it is for engineering and construction companies to fill the many bottleneck vacancies. “The demand is high. So, as a specialized staffing agency, it is not only crucial to efficiently search for talent yourself and offer them good service, but also to stand out in the crowd. With a rebranding, we are opting for a recognizable look and a story that better expresses who we are and what we do,” clarifies CEO Eric Dantinne.
That story starts from the baseline You Make It. “Because we truly believe that anyone can change the world and make a difference. That sounds exaggerated, but it’s true. Because everyone has something that someone else doesn’t, everyone can do something that someone else can’t. Spotting that talent and making it grow, that’s our job. So like an inspired coach, we want to help every candidate and every company achieve anything they want and are capable of.”
Efficient tools and innovative website
To make that happen, IMPACT made thorough use of the corona pandemic to commemorate a lot of things. In addition to new branding, efficient investments were also made on the digital front, including a new website. “IMPACT takes as much work out of the hands of its candidates and temporary workers as possible. Candidates will now go through a more efficient application process, be able to use practical tools such as the CV Tool and benefit from a lot of advantages through the improved candidate portal.”
IMPACT is also making great strides in the area of automation. “Thanks to the integration of a high-performance matching software into our new CRM system, we can get on the ball much faster in our search for criminal talent. Moreover, we will be able to automate a lot of processes, create additional contact moments with our target groups and manage and keep our database better than ever. All this will result in us staying much more top of mind with candidates and temps. In turn, the implementation of a new back office system will ensure that the underlying administrative processes run efficiently and qualitatively.”
Human aspect remains the basis
Yet IMPACT jumps very carefully into these digital and automation initiatives. “We only use all tools and automation as an additional added value to our very personal approach. This characterizes us and will therefore always remain central, because in the end this is still what really makes the difference. In short, we are aiming for a successful combination of the digital & human touch.”
That human aspect can be found on the website. “Our industry is all about people and their stories. As a staffing agency, we play a role in their lives that cannot be underestimated. Temporary workers in turn play a crucial role in the lives of all of us: they make sure we have a living in a well-built house where water runs from the tap, the light is on when you push the button etc. We want to highlight their stories and those of our clients more and inspire others with them.”
A clear plan for the future
At IMPACT they are eagerly looking forward to how the innovations will be received, but of course – under the wings of GIMV – they are already working on the future. “There are a lot of digital projects on the shelf and we are also looking at what plan we can use to approach the experts of today and tomorrow in the best possible way. In addition, later this year we may open our very first office in Romania to be physically closer to our international candidates there as well. In short: this rebranding and digitization move is just the beginning of a lot of innovation.”
