Important documents
Be sure to bring your ID card, driver’s license, bank account number and copies of your birth and marriage certificates.
Practicalities
Make sure you have enough money with you for the first few weeks. Also don’t forget to pack clothes, bed sheets, blankets, pillows and toiletries.
Personal items
Also bring some personal items that make you feel good, for example, photos, a book or your favorite gadget. And of course: your smartphone or tablet.
